Materials & Care
How Should I Take Care of My Jewelry?
Keep your gold vermeil and silver jewelry in a dark, cool, and dry place. Sterling silver naturally oxidizes over time, but storing it in a sealed plastic bag or airtight box can prevent this. Wearing silver jewelry often can also slow down oxidation. For long-term storage, occasional cleaning is recommended to maintain its shine.
All our sterling silver jewelry is rhodium plated to protect against tarnishing.
Avoid exposing your jewelry to chemicals found in perfume, hairspray, makeup, nail polish remover, body oils, suntan lotion, and deodorant.
If your jewelry breaks or tarnishes due to a manufacturing defect, we will replace it at no cost if returned within one years of receipt.
To keep your Ophanty pieces bright and shiny, avoid exposure to chemicals like perfume and chlorine. Store them in a cool, dry place in individual pouches to prevent tangling and scratching. For any questions, please Contact Us.
How Should I Clean Your Jewely?
To keep your jewelry looking its best, gently clean it with a soft, non-abrasive cloth or chamois to restore its shine. If needed, use mild dish soap and warm water with a soft toothbrush, then rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.
Avoid harsh ‘dip’ polishes and abrasive cleaners, as they can damage your jewelry over time. We also recommend staying away from polishing cloths treated with cleaning agents.
